Welcome to Mix Master Disc Jockeys'
Quinceanera Pinters page

Here are a few pointers for Mom and Dad and the guest of Honor.

To start with, for Mom and Dad:

Set a budget and write down everything for the Quinceanera.

Food:

If you are having the Quinceanera held at a banquet hall, keep the food to a open buffet IE: Chicken fingers, Pizza bits, Pasta, Cocktail franks, Mashed potatoes, Roast beef, Chicken marsala, Etc., not a sit down dinner. You will get more for the dollar in a buffet then a sit down and some young adults might not like the food, what you daughter eats.

If you are having the Quinceanera held at a VFW, AL, Fire hall, also have a buffet, as mentioned above. You might also want to add pizza and or subs. Keep in mind that you can always order more pizza if you run out, for the subs keep then plan and simple, like turkey or ham with Swiss or American cheese, keep the oil, vinegar, tomato's and other condiments off to the side and let the guests apply them if they want, keep away from tuna or any other fish products.

Soft drinks:

When serving any soda keep it name brand IE: Pepsi, Coke, Sprite, Etc. serve it in the 2 or 3 liter bottles. Do not serve soft drinks in cans they get wasted after a few sips.

When Serving any water keep it name brand IE: Poland Springs, Dannon, Etc. serve it in the 1 or 2 gallon jugs. Do not serve the 1 pint bottles they get wasted after a few sips.

Desert:

Ah the Quinceanera cake, keep the cake classic with chocolate or vanilla and scaled down. Not all young adults will eat cake. The candles, you will need 15 long taper candles along with the holders and a lighter.

Those are just a few pointers to give to Mom and Dad, a team member can go over more details with you as time comes.

Now for our Quinceanera guest of Honor:

Have a list of all of your friends and family that your inviting to your reception, keep in mind of any after school sports or holidays that guest might not come. CHECK THE DATES!

Is your Quinceanera going to have a theme. Are you going to have it formal or informal.

Dress, shoes, makeup, tiara, hair, and Bible. Check!

When the candle lighting is ready, make sure you have all of your notes for the 16 names and songs are in the order they will said. Be calm take a deep breath and read slow don't be nervous.

Those are just a few pointers.

Best of luck.
