Christenings

The terms christening and baptism are usually used interchangeably and the word christening literally means “to bring to Christ.” This sums up what christenings are all about. When a child is born and the parents decide that they would like the baby to be a part of the Christian community, they take the steps necessary to christen the child. Usually performed when a baby (although converts may be christened at any time in their life), the christening is done by an officiant of the Christian faith and it is at this ceremony that the child becomes a member of God’s church. The parents and the godparents (two people, a man and woman, chosen by the parents to be the child’s spiritual guardian for life) must pledge to help raise the child by the tenants of the Christian faith.

Packages start out at $600.00 for up to 5 hours. This includes basic sound, lighting and bubble machine*, along with an event planner and if children will be in attendance. Games, limbo, parachute and a small fun favors package to keep them entertained.
